James K. Hoffmeier (“Out of Egypt,”) is professor of Old Testament and Ancient Near Eastern History and Archaeology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School of Trinity International University. He heads the North Sinai Archaeological project and has led the excavations at Tell el-Borg since 2000.

Bill T. Arnold (“Nebuchadnezzar and Solomon,”) is professor of Old Testament and Semitic languages and director of Hebrew Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. His areas of expertise include Hebrew, Aramaic and the history of Israelite religion. He is currently working on a commentary on Genesis for the New Cambridge Bible Commentary series.
