

“Resurrecting Easter: Hunting for the Original Resurrection Image”: John Dominic Crossan, Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies at DePaul University in Chicago, has written 29 books on the New Testament. With Robert Funk, he was co-chair of the Jesus Seminar (1986–1995) and President of the Society of Biblical Literature (2012). Sarah Sexton Crossan, a school and district social worker, became the photographer for the annual Borg-Crossan pilgrimages across the Byzantine world (2000–2014) and also the visual artist for lectures and books about its iconography.

“Biblical Archaeology 101: The Ancient Diet of Roman Palestine”: Susan Weingarten is a food historian. She holds a doctorate from Tel Aviv University, and her areas of expertise include Jewish history, Patristics, Classical archaeology, and Late Antiquity.
