Biblical Archaeology Review

Roy Albag (“Reconstructing the Church of the Glorious Martyr” sidebar) is an architect specializing in 3D archaeological research. He is currently working on the Tel Moẓa temple, the topic of his doctoral research at Osnabrück University, Germany.

Zohar Amar (“The Signs That Bind”) is Lecturer in the Department of Land of Israel Studies and Archeology at Bar-Ilan University. He studies biblical plants and animals, as well as rabbinic and medieval literature.

Elisha Fine (Classical Corner) is a doctoral student in modern Jewish History at the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies, Yeshiva University.

Steven Fine (Classical Corner) is the Churgin Professor of Jewish History and director of the Yeshiva University Center for Israel Studies.

Rachel Hallote (“Does Archaeology Confirm Joseph’s Time in Egypt?”) is Professor of History at Purchase College of the State University of New York. Her research focuses on the history of biblical archaeology.

Ralph K. Hawkins (Book Review) is Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Averett University, in Danville, Virginia.

Orit Peleg-Barkat (Milestones) is a Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Archaeology at the Hebrew University. She specializes in Hellenistic and Roman art and architecture of the southern Levant.
