Scroll fragments are displayed in plexiglass sandwiches which allow them to “breathe.” Placed first between two sheets of silk stretched over plexiglass frames, the scroll pieces are then encased in two additional sheets of plexiglass. The rearmost sheet is perforated to allow free circulation of air and to prevent condensation of moisture on the scroll surfaces.
