Philistine warrior. A detail from a Medinet Habu relief shows the characteristic feathered Philistine headdress. The headband to which the feathers are attached was probably made of metal. The headband has a zigzag pattern; a headband of similar design decorated an anthropoid coffin lid found at Beth Shean.
