Toronto, its skyline punctuated by the CN (Canadian National) Tower, is Canada’s biggest and liveliest city. It got even livelier last November, when thousands of archaeologists and Bible scholars descended on it for the annual meetings of the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL) and the American Schools of Oriental Research (ASOR).
