Found just last summer, the elegant Byzantine-era structure is called by the excavators the Northeast Church and lies just 150 feet from the Northwest Church. Though smaller than its counterpart, the Northeast Church also is divided into thirds by columns and features a semi-circular apse at the end of the central nave.
